Is a waiver denial the end of the road, or is there sometimes success with the appeal process?
My DS will of course lead the process I am just fact finding.
The dq is for astigmatism.

What was his astigmatism? I think I have read that it has to be less than + or - 3

It is above 3 thus the reason for the initial DQ but we had been told that it was possibly waiverable if certain further examinations proved it was stable (again I realize it’s case by case I understand) but the waiver denial came without any request for any additional information or further exam.
just trying to have all the info I can to assist my DS w his appeal.
