I am currently DQ'd in DODMERB for History of Anxiety disorder and Olfactory Deficit.
I went to counseling 3 years ago for school stresses and went around 3 times from 2019 to 2021. I was never prescribed any medication, nor put in any mental institution. I was never formally diagnosed with anything, but on the document my counselor provided me to send to DODMERB, it listed that the diagnostic impression I gave off was "generalized anxiety disorder". This was the paperwork from the very first meeting I had with him, and was the only paperwork he gave me to forward to DODMERB.
I also had COVID in 2020. It altered my sense of taste and smell. While I can still taste and smell things, some things are different from how I remember them. I have not lost my taste or smell completely.
I am under waiver review for USNA. I have an LOA, so to my knowledge I should atleast be considered for a waiver, but with these DQ's, how likely are they to get waived? I am asking since other schools are asking for deposits and decisions soon. Any input is greatly appreciated.
