How do I track an application for waiver? My son had 2 disqualifying conditions, both of which we sent additional medical information on to DoDMERB in December and January.
How do we know if the info was received and where the application stands?
I assumed we would be contacted if more info was needed, but have heard nothing.
Decision time is coming.

remedials

OK, I've dug a little deeper.
went to the DoDMERB site and checked my son's status which is basically "Pending waiver review by NROTC"
We've never gotten any official request for a "remedial" form. I sent information from medical records, CT report, etc, but it was never acknowledged.

His DQ codes were D227.80 (history of spondylolysis)
and D 228.00 (Misc ortho or spinal condition) relating to a compartment syndrome.

The list of remedial codes listed on the DoDMERB website doesn't correlate exactly to these, they are more a list of what xray or CT report the reviewer would like to see.

I just want to know that whatever info is needed has been sent.
Should I be asking NROTC or DoDMERB?

I replied to your email this evening. I provided you the NROTC POC for waivers:thumb:

Mr. Mullen,

My application also says "Pending waiver review(USAFA)"...

Is there a POC or department from USAFA Waiver authority that I could possibly contact to get any updates from them?

Thank you.

"If" the Admissions office has directed waiver consideration to begin, the medcial waiver authority will send you their decision via letter:thumb:
