Sorry, since all medical conditions are unique and technicians have variable workloads, there are not set timelines for waivers. Some may take only a week, others may take several months.

Curious how the WP waiver process is? At USNA, we were told by admissions medical tech that USNA typically only puts one through the waiver process once they have been admitted by the academy or ones they tend to appoint....does anyone know WP's process?

I received a waiver from WP in January. I was disqualified by DoDMERB and it took several weeks to get the waiver. I did get the waiver long before getting accepted and only had a letter of encouragement. My account on DoDMERB was updated before my portal so check that over the portal and check it often. Good luck!

My DS is still waiting to hear about a waiver as well. USMA started the process in Nov.
