I had surgery on both eyes for strabismus at age 14. I’m 17 now. I have perfect vision and depth perception. I don’t wear glasses or have any follow up issues. I really want to pilot. Is this surgery waiverable? Thank you.

For Army aviation, it’s DQ if done after the age of 6 years (or somewhere around there).

There is a very small chance for a waiver.

The issue is your eye alignment may be ok now but there is a good chance of degradation of the alignment down the road.
