Waiver Status Question

If my current medical status for a service academy is "Under Waiver Review" is this just the default status or is the academy going further with obtaining a waiver? Will I ever know if the academy is going forward to obtain a waiver?
 
The primary way you'll find out if the USNA will consider you for a medical waiver are paragraphs 11-12 of the attachment I sent you. NROTC, paragraphs 11 & 13. If you lost that attachment...Pls Google “DoDMERB;” Hit “Questions on the process;”
