I got a letter of assurance from USNA back in early December, before DoDMERB had finished processing my forms and before I got a nomination. I got the nomination in late December, and I got a letter from DoDMERB in January, saying that I was DQ'd for color deficiency.
I've read on the forums that the time frame here is anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 months. Does the fact that I got a letter of assurance help my case?
Also, who can I call at USNA? Would I just call admissions (I keep missing their closing time
)? I heard talk of a waiver office there I can call to check on my status etc., but i can't find the number. Does such an office exist and if so, how can I contact it?
Thanks in advance for all your help!
Ben
