Waiver Timeframe?

KaraK - Have your son, the applicant, send me your email and his complete name to dodmerb_SAFROUMS@yahoo.com.

Until I see his specifics, I can’t comment on it accurately. But reading between the lines, I believe it may be his specific DQ vs a Cadet Command issue. Standing by.....

Mr. Mullen,
Are you open to others emailing as well with a question regarding a waiver? My DD is under waiver review.

Thank you!

Still getting use to these threads, so just seeing this on 1 Feb 2020. Yes. See thread titles FAST on the DoDMERB thread.

1. There was a typo in the email address above. The correct address is: dodmerb_saforums@yahoo.com.
2. The FAST sticky under the DoDMERB tab is exceptionally clear.
3. I do have emails from a Mom, on my multiple accounts, but I have no idea who it is, because the Mom didn’t associate her Forums name with her email.
4. Read: https://dodmerb.tricare.osd.mil; Hit “Questions about the Process;” Read paragraph 4 :)
5. I will reply to that email anyway.

The email from the unidentified Mom, was not from you. So, follow the instructions above and/or the instructions I provided you under your other post Mr Larry Mullen :)

Currently in a holding pattern for a waiver from NROTC. The time between DQ letter and my waiver AMI was 9 weeks and change. I'm currently sitting at week four, going on five since my paperwork was sent from DoDMERB to WA. Is there a threshlod time where I should be concerned about what is going on (or not going on) with my file?

No😁
Comply with FAST sticky under s DoDMERB tab and I can provide greater clarity late tonight

Generic question here: when going through remedial exams during the waiver process (through Concorde/DODMETS) do the candidates typically receive copies of the results/reports? Can they request them? Our DS is in a revolving door of AMI's right now for a single DQ and we are of course curious as to the outcome of these evaluations.

Q = Generic question here: when going through remedial exams during the waiver process (through Concorde/DODMETS) do the candidates typically receive copies of the results/reports?
A = No

Q= Can they request them?
A = Later on, wehn the results get to DoDMERB, he can ask for a copy with a written/signed/dated request to DoDMERB :wiggle:

Mr. Mullen,

Sorry if I'm beating a dead horse. From my other thread ..... if my son now has a check-mark by his medical on his USNA portal, do you know if that means he has actually received a waiver, or does it just mean they have his DoDMERB result in hand? There is nothing other than the check-mark and a date. He has no way of knowing what that actually means, and we don't want to assume he is in the clear until we know for sure.

Thank you.

THE MOST HONEST ANSWERS I CAN PROVIDE:

1. You need to google "DoDMERB;" Hit "Questions on the process" on the left of the homepage; read paragraph #4.
2. Then your son, who has questions about the USNA Admissions portal, which I don't have access to, can ask USNA Admissions what that means.
3. Your son can also go to the DoDMERB website to see if the USNA has rendered a waiver decision, because if they have, they electronically transmit that decision to our website :wiggle:
