waiting for waiver

Hello everyone, I have been waiting for a response for
commission officer for the army. I am currently a nurse with my Bsn degree. I have had my physical, but it come back disqualified due to my diabetes type 2, I am currently taking a pill a long with diet and exercise control. My recruiter stated that we are waiting for a wavier. Does anybody know what I can expect? I am pretty anxious.
