Waiver?

Today I recieved my LOA in the mail!!!! However, the only thing that I am waiting to here on is my Medical Qualification. I was already found to be disqualified due to a sports injury I obtained back a few years ago. However, the problem was surgically repaired and I haven't had any issues since. What are my chances of getting a waiver? Also, what other processes will I have to go through to get that waiver? My surgeon was actually a Navy doc for quite some time so will he just have to sign off or something like that? Thanks for the help!

It might seem weird asking help from someone with such personal information involved but he is here to help you. Many here can attest to that.
