After getting an LOA in Oct. and nomination in Nov. my sons DoDmerb status was just updated to waiver granted. I had to call the USNA to be sure and they told me that everything according to their records is a go! They said it just needed a signiture (hope this happens) and then to look for an official appointment in the mail. Can this really be true?????? We are numb! Both my wife and I have no military backround and are new to this. We would be lying if we said we are not a little scared but also happy for our son. Advice??
