In today's Washington Post, this one got me good. During all the Jackson coverage in the last few weeks, there were good and important stories pushed aside. This was one of them, and some fine members of the Georgia National Guard rectified the oversight in a big way, on page A19, above the fold, with photo.

I salute those who know how to honor the fallen, and I'm proud to have served in the same way on many occasions in the past.

Very powerful letter ... thank you for posting it ... and I think it would do well on other forums to serve as an example of the close and respectful bond shared by all who serve.

May God bless Lt. Bradshaw and all who currently serve:
"It's thin red line of heroes when the drums begin to roll". Summer patiots are a dime a dozen. The best stand up and toe the line and when it matters.
