Son just received a Casio G-Shock, Mudman Solar Atomic Rally Watch for graduation. Very cool! It's pretty tough but is it appropriate for Beast? Should he save it for after A-Day and wear a "throw-away" type watch for Beast?

Same one my son has for USMAPS R-Day. They specified it had to be black and I think it's fine for Beast and after. IMHO
