Did anyone else attend the session tonight?

Yeah, I did! I was a little annoyed how each question was repeated like six times... but it was really fun. Props to those who gave their time to answer some of those questions. I really want to go to the webinar on the 24th when they'll start answering questions regarding AIM.

May I ask, what is webinar?

My son is a junior in HS and he will be trying to get an invite to the AIM program this summer. I have him reg. to receive his AIM package in the mail.

Thanks,

Very Proud and Hopeful mom to future CGA Cadet and Very Proud Sister to USCG Flight Tech and S&R who is stationed in Elizabeth City. :shake:

Well two or three days ago, I received an email from CGA. They invited me to reserve a spot for the webinar (portmanteau of web and seminar xD) and then after I signed up for it, they gave me a url that's only for me. Representatives of the CGA (cadets and administrators) took questions from the audience and answered them, either through the chat box or they would speak into a mic. And there was a screen showing someone's computer screen and they navigated around the CGA website and showed us where we could find certain info.

I guess that since you have your son registered for the AIM app, the next webinar invite should get to you. The next webinar is on the 24th according to them.

Thank You so much for your very helpful information. I will make sure that my son is looking out for it in his email box.

Thank You,

If any of you ever have questions about CGA, majors, classes, extracurricular activities, life as a cadet, getting to know the New London area, please feel free to PM any time. :thumb:

Interesting that I have boy/girl twins and only my daughter got an invitiation to the Webinar. I assume they were targeting a specific audience. My daughter couldn't participate so I'm curious if the particpants were primarily female.

I think they targeted juniors who already had a profile with them online. My son participated and he already had a profile online.
