I'm normally not one to vent online, but i'm in lockdown with a wife and two kids and the tp is running low and it's time for me to get this out. We completed the requested AMI's for a waiver 3 weeks ago. The medical office says he sent the reports to dodmerb twice. The dodmerb site showed no indication of this. I've written emails to the addresses I have asking if they have the reports. no response. thursday we get an email saying we havn't completed the AMI's yet. What? We replied to them with the scanned copies of the reports ourselves. Do they have them now? Or are they sitting in someones spam folder? I have no idea. I then send them to the email address where we've sent other info. Later, we get an email stating we have to perform the same requested AMIs as we did the first time. WTF. Is this an error or are they serious? It's totally unclear. Seriously, dodmerb needs to invest in some workflow software. I live near Silicon Valley. I know some people. Okay. I'm done.

Mr. Mullen helped us, too, and I agree with your assessment! One of the batches of information we sent via regular mail was not received and we sussesfully sent the next batch via Fed Ex. Did you make sure that the last 4 digits of your child's SSN was on each page of the documents you sent? The good news for us is once everything was received and recorded the decision was pretty quick!

I'm sure mullen is great. I see him answering a ton of questions. I did send him a separate email, with no response. Was it the right email address? is it in his spam folder? I have no idea. That's the problem, there's no transparancy to this system, and they're relying on the heroics of mullen and people like him to make this clunker of a system work.

Can’t say about Larry’s spam folder but it would be completely out of character for him not to reply if it did get to him, usually within hours. Search some of the various threads for his email address.

I’m glad you’re maintaining context and perspective during this unprecedented period. While we sometimes have a Purgatory, but we’ve yet to dip down to the Big House. The actual address for DoDMERB Purgatory, on the SA Forums is under the DoDMERB tab....not the USCGA tab. But in my over willingness to help all applicants, I’m monitoring all tabs throughout the day and night. My levity is designed to bring you back to the task at hand....Vice....the hyperbolic drama which does nothing to serve your son or daughter.

But, I’ll tell you what I’ll do, which is and has been an option all over the SA Forums for weeks....I can’t offer more to customers than what I’m offering, if they don’t read the offers of assistance.

Have your son or daughter, the actual applicant, comply with the FAST sticky under the DoDMERB tab.
I am trying to take a nap now, but I will reply within 1-6 hours after receipt of that email tonight.

I personally apologize for any delays or miscommunications I may have made/not made to bring you to this level of despair, but if your son or daughter....the applicant....reaches out to me.... you’ll see that I will accommodate he/she😀

At this very moment...I have 7 emails in that box. All 7 are follow-ups. All emails will receive a response by midnight tonight, but for now, I’m going to take a nap on Sat afternoon 💤, after shoveling snow.

Most of the snow in Denver has melted thankfully. Looks like the Springs is warmer than we are!
