West Point SLE 2021

I applied on March 14th so would that be a factor in delaying an acceptance//does that look bad?
I did not know about it until March so I had to sign up later than most.

Hello. Still waiting on SLE email. To the ones that are in congrats!! And can you please share your SAT score in the application, out of curiosity thank you.
I got a 1410 but I'm retaking it this May. I'm hoping for a score in the 1500s.

I submitted an ACT of 27, with my sophomore PSAT of 1160. It got me into USAFASS, but I'm retaking the ACT Saturday.

Submitted a 1430 SAT (680 EBRW, 750 Math) and I got accepted 2 days ago. I later updated it to a 1450 (700 EBRW, 750 Math) but I'm not sure if that affected the decision at all since I updated it in early April.

Accepted to NASS and SLE with a 1480 psat, no SAT. (720 ebrw, 760 math). Rejected from USAFASS. Heard from USMA on the 14th.

I feel kinda silly posting mine because it'll be the lowest on here but I got a 1320 SAT (620 EBRW, 700 Math). I don't think the test score is the most important factor in admission so if you have good extracurriculars and leadership roles you'll be fine.

I submitted a 33 ACT (34 English, 32 Math, 34 Reading, 30 Science😭) and a 1390 PSAT (680 EBRW, 710 Math)

I have a question about taking the SAT again. So I took the SAT with the essay the first time but I want to take the SAT again to try and raise my score. Do I have to continue to take the test with the essay or will my first essay grade transfer and I only have to take the multiple choice part again.

(sorry that was confusing)

Wow!
I know that last 6-7 SAT and ACT have been cancelled in a row due to the pandemic. It seems that there are some States that allowed SAT and ACT??? A big surprise to see that some candidates were able to take SAT and ACT exams. You are very lucky to get the scores proactively.

USMA admission website says they will superscore standardized tests. This means you can send all scores and they will pull your best EBRW, Math, and essay scores to obtain highest SAT. Good luck!

F4EF15-What state are you in? We are in SC and the SAT and ACT have been open for months now. You could fly/drive to SC and back to your home state--just be mindful of what your home state's quarantine guidelines are for when you go back home. SC is an open state.

Only once needed if you are happy with the writing score. Same with ACT... you just have to take it with writing once.

My DD is in the same situation. We're from California and have had the test cancelled 6 times. She does not have a score to report other then a 1000 on the PSAT. We may have to take a long drive to Nevada.

Nevadan here. Make sure to check the ACT website and College Board for testing locations, and don't wait on it! I scheduled my SAT about a month 1/2 ago, and the first available date was in May. You might get luckier with ACT, I was able to reschedule about a month out

My DD signed up for multiple test dates and about three weeks prior, the test gets cancelled. We scramble to find a new testing site and in California they're all cancelled but the Nevada sites are all full. Would be nice if they gave us at least a month warning they're going to cancel.
