Hi, I am applying to wake forest university and they clearly have an AROTC program. However, when I look for it through the scholarship app. portal, WFU is not in the drop down. How can I choose this college in my school of intent if it’s not on the list?🤔

Really stupid question, but if the look-up goes by state, are you putting in NORTH Carolina? If so, and you’d like to alert the peeps there of this issue, here’s their contact info (from arotc website).
Wake Forest University (336)-758-4546 or email at rotcroo@wfu.edu

That's odd. When I applied I had no issues finding it. If the folks at Wake don't respond with anything helpful, go through the AROTC help tab.

I’ve tried emailing last week, but the email you attatched is invalid. I will try to call after Labor Day.

10 sec of google

If you are interested in finding more about the program, use the navigation bar to the left or contact the department Recruiting Operations Officer at (336) 343-9566 or roorotc@wfu.edu.

I'm also looking at Wake (and can confirm it's on the drop down). Incidentally, I'd love to hear from anyone who is going through, or went through, AROTC. Good experience? Lots of camaraderie? How supportive is the school itself?

Thank you.

Compare the emails given to you in various posts, note the discrepancy between the ones given, then go to the primary source to ensure you used the correct one.

Additionally, using a Google search string with “Wake Forest University AROTC Contacts” brings up the below link. No luck there when you called or emailed?

At that same website, you can explore the hamburger menu and look at the Cadre drop down. The same POC listed in the Contacts is shown as the ROO on the staff list, so you’ve researched and identified your target, and communications channels are specified. Time for a re-attack, and next time, persevere just a bit longer. A few minutes at the unit website would have given you everything you need, faster than coming to an unofficial anonymous Internet forum.

Good luck, said most sincerely, because I am a Wake alum. I appreciated the quality of my education there, the small class sizes, the undergraduate student body size felt right (roughly the size of a DOD SA), location halfway between the mountains and the beach, the feeling of community.

Awesome! Thanks a lot. I called them and they said the major I initially chose must not be available at WFU. I’m surprised Biomedical Engineering wasn’t on there, but changed it to bio and success!!
