What a Jerk!

That being said - I would like to think our elected leaders would have more civility and tact than as reported.

Me too. Let's hope it was a slow news day, give them the benefit of the doubt, and watch the situation closely.

As much as I enjoy Olbermann, and I often enjoy him very much, this is just another unsubstantiated story. Most reporting really isn't very exacting these days; a reflection of society perhaps???

How much better would the story have been if Olbermann could have verified the story about Webb's son and presented the details of his life threatening experience? Lots better of course. But what do we get? Hear say just like the first story.

So as far as I'm concerned this is all so much fluff.

I suppose that the legitimate press is honoring Webb's request to drop it. The only thing I found was the following:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/blog/2006/12/06/BL2006120600941.html

Go to Page 5 under Webb Watch. It references Think Progress who supposedly called Moran's office. I didn't intend to reference it since Zap will probably go ballistic with a liberal blog such as it being mentioned on the forum. The Post does give a certain amount of credence to the story though and I would bet that it is true.

Oh, I wouldn't worry about that. He's pretty open minded if you hammer on him hard enough.

Posting from the Washington Compost is hardly enough to make me go ballistic.

The recent waves of spam, on the other hand... :unhappy:

It wasn't the Post, but the Think Progress, a liberal blog, to which I was referring.

Agree 100% on the spam. Are these real people are is it done automatically? They all seem to be 2011 candidates. And if last night is any indication, they pop up as fast as you can put them down. Ever play whack-a-mole?
