I am applying for Air Force ROTC at my school but was disqualified on my DoDMERB physical. Here is my situation regarding my disqualification:

I have a history of autism based on anxiety but my case is very mild. But we all have anxiety sometimes, right? My case is not that big of a deal (I don't have panic attacks, or live in constant worry, nor do I try to avoid social situations). My anxiety comes out of the fear that I may make a fool of myself or embarass myself in a social setting. I am currently on a medication for anxiety (abilify, also known as aripiprazole), but I only take a small amount of it (1 mg a day) and it is only temporary (like as if I had a cold or flu) so I will be finished with it in about a month.

What are my chances of getting a waiver in my case?

Only one person can give you any kind of answer to this and that is Mr. Larry Mullen.

Go to the top of the page here and his information is listed as well as how to contact him.

Send him a message like he describes and you can rest assured he will contact you.
