What are my chances?

I know there are a million of these threads, but I 'd really like to know if I have a chance at attending WP.

I am a current high school Junior and these are my stats

GPA : 4.6 weighted, 3.9 unweighted

SAT : 2330 (Superscored)

1 year jv wrestler, 2 year varsity wrestler

ASB (Student Leadership) 3 years as Freshman President, Sports Commissioner, and Junior Vice President (Hopefully I will win my ASB President election for next year)

Attending USNA Summer Seminar

I also write for my local city newspaper.

So, do I have a shot at WP?
 
Grizzly112, I'd say you have a great shot at WP. at least on the academic qualification piece and probably on the physical qualification piece as a wrestler as long as you practice the CFA and do well. The two big unknowns are the medical qualification and the nomination. If you can put all that together, you have a great chance. Decisions will likely have to be made on your part...where do you prioritize WP with the other SA. That is usually where nominations really come into play since many times you can only get them to one SA.
 
Any other extracurriculars? Being a part of and getting involved with Boys State will be beneficial. Also, what is your SAT breakdown?
 
I would say that your going to get in without any worries. Boys state would add to your file even more
 
Chase down the CFA pdf and the recent averages, and do some practice runs.

You want to be above average on all, and max as many as you can. (especially the ones that align with the APFT, etc.

This early there is no reason to not rock the CFA. If you are below average, start training to improve those areas.

The testing tends to favor "gazelles", and it seems some stockier/muscular body types are more challenged. (body builders who can't do pullups, or many situps, etc)

Sort that out early, and prep for it.

Also read some about the medical process and possible issues.

I am jealous. Your stuff looks really good. I will be happy if mine come anywhere close to yours my junior year. YES, you do!
