What are my chances?

I've received a medical waiver for some past issues I had, as well as a nomination from my Representative, both to USAFA. With the two of these, is there any way to know my chances of receiving an appointment to the academy? Thanks.

No one could remotely make a prediction without more information:
-Test Scores/GPA/Courses
-Athletics
-Extracurricular Activities

-35 ACT (perfect scores on math and science)
-1420 SAT
-4.15 GPA
-heavy AP and honors coursework
-tons of participation in leadership through church and school (president of past youth group, vice president of current youth group, etc.)
-intramural volleyball for 2 years

I completely understand that it's impossible to know for sure, but maybe this info helps to make a prediction of how realistic it would be for me to hope for an appointment?

What's your CFE score?

What's your CFE score?
39 foot basketball throw, 1 pull up (I know... That number is pretty sad), 9.9 second shuttle run, 78 sit-ups (average), 50 push-ups (max), 7:17 mile (above average)- also, if it's important to note, I'm a girl. I'm not an all star athlete (as you can probably tell) but my ALO was saying since I have strong academics and leadership it's something that they can potentially work with.

If you were not a worthy candidate, they would not have bothered with the medical waiver process. Being female doesn't hurt especially with a perfect math and science ACT section. Congratulations on the high ACT! Having a fantastic GPA also helps. How is your class rank? Being #1 is another feather in your cap.

Sports is your weakness but you already know that. Your interview / interpersonal skills as well as your application writing skills will influence the final outcome. I wish you the best.

Thank you! That's what I've read online as well, that they wouldn't bother with the waiver if I wasn't competitive for appointment (according to DoDMERB site). My class rank is 1 of 482 unweighted, 25 of 482 weighted (top 5%). My ALO has said that my evaluation is very strong, so hopefully that has a big influence on the outcome.

Again, thanks for your comments!

1 pull up is not bad for a girl. It's better than any hang time. Your test scores are great. Easily good enough.

Your sports is weak. You're competing against stellar athletes. Being a girl with great academics and high interest puts you into the competitive category.

Just wait and see. If I was betting, I'd say you'll get your appointment. But, I don't know your competition. There is a push to get more females appointed.

Your application looks great. Keep working hard to improve physically and learn as much as you can about what will be expected or required of you once you get there.

My DS said most who were appointed and quit did so because they didn't really understand the military and mental part of the training. You will do fine academically, and it doesn't take a super athlete to do fine at the academy. It is about team work and being physically able to complete the challenges.

Best of luck.

Looks like there was no need for me to worry/stress... Got a call from my Congressman (the one who nominated me) congratulating me on my early appointment! He beat the USAFA in informing me. Thanks everyone for your words of advice!
