What constitutes locking a thread?

Looked at past threads that were locked and they all seemed random subjects. Your help thread doesn't give exact reasons either. None of these threads were vulgar, sexual, bad language or anything like that.

Just curious.

A supermoderator or moderator deciding that a thread needs to be locked is the determining factor. Could be for any number of reasons to include but not limited to the list you mentioned above.

For any further discussion on matters such as this I would recommend using the PM function to discuss with a moderator or supermoderator.
