@OldRetSWO great movie. I’ll watch anything with Defoe but I love the A-6.

Great airplane that was never adequately replaced. The Hornet/Super Hornet just does not have the legs or the carrying ability of the 'truder while the potential missions that call for them have not gone away. Just like the case with outer zone ASW and the S3, I am not mourning the loss of the specific aircraft but rather, the loss of mission capabilites.

Also getting rid of the A-10 seems illogical. Hopefully these decisions will not come back to bite us.
