What does CPR and TWE mean?

Check out the acronyms section above... it will help tremendously... I have had my fair share of mishaps.

CPR: Complete Pending Review
TWE: Thin White Envelope (essentially decline letter) as in the ‘old days’ you would receive one in the mail vs the BFE (Big Fat Envelope) that you would otherwise receive if you had been accepted.

You may find The Acronym List here on SAF helpful.

And, look for the “Stickies,” important posts at the very top of some threads, such as Nominations and DODMERB.

CPR = Complete Pending Review. The applicant file is awaiting a final decision.

TWE = Thin White Envelope, a general term used for the message bearing the bad news of an appointment. That is more often done on a portal these days than the actual dreaded envelope with one sheet inside.

BFE = Big Fat Envelope, the opposite of TWE, can also be virtual. The offer plus other paperwork.
