I called the Naval Academy admissions today regarding a few questions about my plan B incase I don't get into the Naval Academy. However, the gentleman I was speaking with looked into my file and said that I am qualified for NAPS. I was calling to ask a few questions about what they prefer to see on a second year applicant and he told me to just wait considering my application said I was qualified for NAPS. I am curious if anyone knows what qualified for NAPS means? Another admissions officer from the Naval Academy informed me that my application is currently on hold. Does anyone know what these comments mean? Does everyone who is qualified for NAPS get accepted or do they have another selection process to cut down on NAPS offers? Thank you for any comment/help!
