Hi,
I am going to be a sophmore in Hs this coming year I have a 3.88 GPA in the engineering scieance and technology program and the highest level classes I am aloud to take. I also have taken a year of french and plan on continuing it and joining the french honor society. I am involved in FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) where I hold an officer role. I play baseball and lettered in my freshman year. I'm planning to join robotics club and plan on running for the student goverment for my junior year. I also plan on joing the debate team. I have over 60 hours of community service with my city and plan on getting more. I am planning on attending they Navy baseball camp when it comes up. I have taken the PSAT and did well on it.

What else can I do to make myself stand out?

Should I be starting anything in the application process now or wait till the recommended times?

Take the best classes, do well in sports, competitions, arts and public speaking/dramatic sort of things, etc etc. Nothing you can do as to the application just yet, except maybe start building good relationships with everyone relevant (teachers and whoever may give you recommendations, seeing about meeting members of Congress, meet your BGO). You're doing fine.

You're doing fine and waaaaay too young to be worrying (if you are) about such things. You've got your future in your hands and doing fine, it seems.

The major thing you can do, inkled at but not specified? Pray. It ALWAYS works when you place all your faith on the Senior Master Admiral. Trust that His plan is just waiting for you to play the leading role. :thumb:

Start running. Maybe do cross country in the fall and baseball in the spring. Take PSAT sophomore year and SAT early junior year. Take the hardest classes and do well. Do well on AP tests. Start a resume of all your activities and community service now. Maybe sometime next year, go meet the staff at your congressman's office & ask for information regarding attaining the nomination. Just show some simple interest and get your foot in the door.
