What Goes In the White Envelope?

My DS sent in all of the "Immediate Action" PTR paperwork which from what I saw all went in the large manila envelope. What goes in the smaller white one? I went through his check list (albeit quickly) and did not see anything.

Not sure, but maybe you are thinking about the Midshipman Publicity/News Release Card? If I remember correctly that had its own envelope along with the NFCU form, the Alumni Association Form, and of course the Manila envelope. I believe we had to address the immunization forms on our own in our own envelope.

Was there supposed to be a large manila envelope to send the forms to the commandant? I never got one, so I assumed that I needed to send them in my own.

Yes there was. But I've seen numerous posts now saying the manila envelope was not in the package. The address is provided on the checklist in the package. Priority mail may be something to consider.

Thanks Juvat. Glad nothing critical had to go in the white one as it's still here ;)

Thanks for asking this, @USNA 19 DAD - I was wondering, too! I spent a couple hours this morning going over and over the various forms, making sure things are complete, identifying the "still to do" list for DS (who's in the middle of the end-of-year storm: AP exams, end-of-senior-year events, out-of-town state tournament for his spring sport)...and was a little worried about that white envelope "orphan." There are so many pieces due at different places and different times...it's challenging even for a pretty organized person!

Just contacted admissions. Let then know if you did not receive a manila envelope, they will send one to you.

Juvat is correct, the white envelope has a small red PAO stamp on it, which stands for Public Affairs Office. That is for the Publicity/News Release. On the checklist it simply says "mail in envelope provided" (vs "mail in manila envelope provided")but in the address column it says mail to the Public Affairs Office. Took a little decoding for us!
