Hello,

Today I finally finished all the different components of my West Point applications. There are no more red or yellow marks on any parts of my application overview. I also have two nominations, one from a congressman and one ROTC. What happens now? Will something in my portal change? I am also medically qualified. Thanks.

You wait...patiently. It looks like you are a college (re)applicant. Has your 1st semester transcript been received by USMA? Honestly, if you check your portal every day, you may find out something that way first. Or you may go to the mailbox one day in {month} and find a BFE (which is what happened to my DS) or a TWE. Just make sure you stay focused on your current classes because you could be waiting until April. Good luck!

Shouldn't my portal say somewhere if I am academically qualified? In regards to the whole 3Q thing? And yes I am a college applicant and USMA has received my 1st semester transcripts. Thanks.

You may or may not receive a 3Q letter. I think others on here have said it's dependent on your regional commander, and not everyone, even if 3Q, received one on their portal or in the mail. If you don't see an attachment for one on your portal, you could contact your admissions counselor/regional commander (or whoever's contact info you have by way of e-mails received or on your portal).

I finished my application at the end of August... since then, it has been a long waiting game. Just enjoy senior year and have a plan B ready to go. Good luck!
