I applied late for the NROTC 4-year scholarship. I'm a decent applicant but I know I cut my chances by getting it in right before the deadline. I am a high schooler senior with 45 credit hours and will have my AA before I graduate high school. I'm a Pre-Med student hoping for a NSW position. My backup plan if I can't get the 4-year is to apply for the 2-3 year which I know is kind of a shot in the dark since it's oriented for college students. Any other pathways I'm unaware of to help pay for college and get a commission? All help is appreciated! Thank you!

If you are thinking Marine Option look into Platoon Leaders Course. Also, you can only apply for a 2-3 year scholarship second semester of freshman year, but you can also apply for the 4 year scholarship again prior to that.

If you are already in college, then how can you apply for the 4-year scholarship again?

Because Navy allows you to during your rising freshman year. It's the way the system works. I don't think the other services allow this.
