It's the primary number used now for Tricare and all things medical. It is also printed on things like immunization records etc. I would not use your SSN without verifying from someone official.What is a DOD ID number? I've never heard of it before so I'm assuming I don't have one... Should I simply write my SSN for any documents I need to fill in?
