my sons exam was a month ago so wondering if that's normal or delayed.
DS was 2 weeks total from start to finish. He got the email to make appointments on 8/31 and qualified status posted on 9/14. I’m not sure what the average time is since I only have a sample set of 1.
does qualified status post in the DOD website or the admissions website? or both? I only checked USNA application page.
It showed up on DODMERB first. I think there was an email of status change. Then it took about a week to show up on the USAFA portal. As of yesterday it still wasn’t on his USNA portal, but DODMERB shows qualified for both.
It's hard to estimate the timeline because it depends on when the exam happened. From my observation, those who took their exams early on (during the summer) tended to move forward faster since there were less in the queue. As there are more applicants in the process now the wait times get longer. My son took his exam in the summer and it was about 2 weeks before it showed up on the portal.
For my DD it was right at 30 days from exam to qualified status on portal.
