What Shoes to Wear on R-day

What shoes should I wear going into R-day? I heard some people wear their low quarters so they didn’t have to pack all 3 shoes. Any thoughts of current/past cadets?

My daughter wore her tennis shoes, packed the low quarters in her bag and tied the boots to the outside of her bag.

SNEAKERS! Be as comfortable as you can for as long as you can. You will be in those black shoes and socks soon enough.

Agree with @DrMom. People always suggest wearing low quarters, but you will be best served by wearing comfortable shoes. Just keep your low quarters easily accessible so you can switch into them quickly when required. But there is no need to walk around in those uncomfortable shoes unnecessarily. Comfortable tennis shoes will keep you from worrying about why your feet hurt so much almost from the start.
