What should happen if admitted midshipman candidate strains muscle before i-day?

I'm working with son about what to do if he strains a muscle before i-day in 3 weeks. Will something like that be reportable to DODMERB if a person goes to get treatment for it to make sure it heals before i-day? If that happened, what would be the process for candidate so close to i-day? Thanks for any advice.

Under those circumstances described above, it would be best told to Admissions at the respective Academy.

I'd advise to take it easy. We're all in the end-game now, final countdown to reporting. No need to push PRs in the gym or do something irresponsible.
