Hey guys. I am in high school and I wrestle and do track. However, I am really confused on what sport to do in fall:football or cross country? I need some advice

Doesn't matter. Just do well.

Also...questionable choice for a profile picture.

And why would that be questionable. Its just an Army Special Forces tab. I see you got one of the teams as your picture too

Because those tabs you have displayed in your picture are the type of thing we don't display unless we've earned them. It's like someone who's thinking about medical school putting up a picture that says "I'm an M.D."

My picture is not of a "team." That is the flash of the 5th Special Forces Group...the same one I wear to work every day.

In many communities it is also considered bad luck to own or display a device before one has earned it. I was class leader in flight school and responsible for the set of wings necessary for each class member to wear for their graduation Bupers portrait. I bought a set for the class. Through no fault of my own, a bump in the road delayed my winging for a while and actually, for a period, was not sure I was ever going to receive them. I attribute it wholly to the folly of buying my wings before I earned them. My son is wearing them now.

Perhaps in the 'real' military they just beat the crap out of those who display a device before they have earned it while in the kinder and gentler communities we just spread superstitious rumors to dissuade it.

I agree Mongo. Owning and/displaying a device before it's been earned is bad juju. I would advise this young man to start off on the right foot and rethink this.

I think a West Point Candidate should first learn how to spell candidate before worrying about which fall sport to participate in.
