What to bring on I-Day?

I know there are the many papers to bring, but what else should my son bring?

I am speaking more of out-of-the-box things, like a Tide to Go Instant Stain Remover or a tennis racket. All responses are helpful.

Peruse this thread. There are many opinions about how much to bring.

Since they will have to carry it WHILE they carry the big bag of uniforms, etc. that they will be issued, I come down on the "less" side. Mail a care package with the Tide, etc. We're mailing ours before we leave for Annapolis. With any luck, it will be received before our plebe needs it.

There are indeed many threads about this topic ... and I do not believe you will find a tennis raquet on any list anywhere ... unless of course you are a recruited tennis athlete ...

basically plebes get very few personal items over the summer ...

Probably won't be playing much tennis during the summer anyway, but pack it and bring it along on Parent's Weekend!
