I am seriously considering attending West Point, and I was wondering how my activities look so far. I have earned straight As for most of my life, at a state-accredited private school. I am very involved in my church's youth group, and we often do community service i.e. helping out the elderly with lawn care and such. I start and am a team leader for my basketball and softball teams. I also help mow a company's lawn year round.
Also, can anyone who is/have/knows a lot about or is attending West Point give me some info? Such as what it's like, your experience, Beast Barracks and so forth.
During/after WP, I would like to branch Aviation or Air Defense Artillery.
Ok, done rambling. This is my first time posting so I don't really know what is acceptable and what isn't haha. Thanks for reading!
 
I am also the first-chair saxophonist for my schools' band. Forgot to mention that, sorry.
 
I'm an candidate as well who has made a bunch of posts! Have you completed the applicant portal? All appropriate questions are accepted! Any nominations? Did you pass the CFA?
 
I'm sorry I should have specified... I am way to young to apply. I was just looking to see what I should do when I get to that point. My apologies to you.

There's plenty of info for underclassmen who want to go to West Point there. Also pointers to other interesting information.

I want to be a part of something bigger than myself. I don't want to wonder what could have happened. I have always wanted to fly, and I believe that West Point offers the most during my time as an officer and after.
