What To Watch As A COVID-19 Escape

Watched The Gentlemen over the weekend. If you're a fan of Snatch and Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels this one is for you.
Hugh Grant was great.
This x 100.

Hugh Grant was excellent, but I loved Coach, Colin Farrell. I have a soft spot for honorable characters.

Check out Rocknrolla. Same director.

We watched it last night. Excellent movie. Agree on Hugh Grant. Also the actress from Downton Abbey was great. I'd like to see a sequel.

Made my 2024 plebe watch airplane with me last night. I hadn't watched it in decades. Forgot out politically incorrect it was. I am not sure he was a fan.

I've gotten hooked on Fox's The Masked Singer on Wednesday nights . Very family friendly and escapist entertainment. If you haven't seen it, heavily masked and costumed well known people compete in musical singing contests. There are clues to each singer and a panel of judges try to guess each singer's identity. The singer voted off each week has to unmask. Rob Gronkowski as White Tiger and Bret Michaels as Banana have been 2 recent people unmasked.

That ought to be worth a chuckle given who the star is.
This should be funny despite the expected jabs at the military, government leaders and conspiracy theorists.

Get some of those mini bamboo and crepe paper umbrellas for the slushies and Pina coladas as "Kokomo" spikes in playlists...

If you are parched for sports, here’s some trash talk with Phil, Tiger, Tom and Peyton about their upcoming charity golf match:

Oh boy...Netflix has a movie coming out May 29th. All star cast.

SPACE FORCE.

Just saw a trailer 😳

I think I like this Gen. Raymond.

A good self-deprecating sense of humor goes a long way with me.

We watched "The Game" with Michael Douglas and Sean Penn last night. I haven't seen it in years and it was a first viewing for our DS. He was blown away by the movie, as I was when first viewed. The only caveat is that it is a one-time watch type of movie.
