So I'm medically qualified and everything, but I have a question when it comes to all of the financial aid things that I'm being asked about from my college. It says let us know of any other scholarships that you have received that are not listed. My question is: I don't actually have the scholarship until I pass the APFT ,and am active in the program for at least 45 days right? I'm guessing that after those two things will be when all of the paperwork with the financial aid office is completed.

Your ROTC unit will provide a list of scholarship recipients to the college admissions office. While you are correct that the money won't actually be disbursed until after you pass the APFT and are active for 45 days, most colleges will wait for their tuition money until the military releases the funds.

As for listing any other scholarships on your college paperwork.....we are listing none until the AFROTC program actually disburses the money. IMHO, there is no sense in messing around with whatever financial aid you are receiving in case you get hurt or something else happens that may affect your ROTC scholarship.

Good luck!
