Ya I've heard a lot that they have really cut out the majority of the hazing in recent years. You're still getting yelled at but nothing compared to ~20 years ago.
I have a friend whose dad tells a story about the first day of beast. All the new cadets were lined up and somebody passed gas. They knew who it was but the kid lied about it and they kicked him out right there for lying!
I don't know how true that is but it sure is a good story when my friends dad tells it lol.
