When does USNA start sending out TWE?

Actually, at this point 'no news' is not good news. It is just the status quo and as the days go by without an appointment, the candidates in the pool are less likely to be awarded appointments.

I believe that's true. In my case I pretty much knew I was gonna get the thumbs up or thumbs down from USNA mid march-early april because I was disqualified for having a color deficiency so admissions probably tossed my file to the side back in august to look at much later. Thankfully I received a waiver at the end of January so now I'm in the running with everyone else. On the bright side I have about a month until my USNA fate is decided, much better than when I was CPR in august.

Could you explain in a bit more detail? I have been assuming that some slates are waiting on medical, etc., and there may be others that the board simply hasn't gotten to yet.
I think this is true because my DD just got an update AMI request on 3/7 from DODMERB to clarify a medical issue on her application.

Although. The baby just got accepted to the Air Force Academy. Crying happy tears in the middle of an accreditation visit. Must pull myself together and go back in the board room. So, NO ONE GIVE UP HOPE!!! You are still in the fight.

Congratulations DrMom! You are a voice of reason and I am so happy for you and your DS! You have been through a lot and I commend you for your strength, encouragement and advice you provide to others on this forum.

I do agree with you as my DS has been CPR'd since late August. DS is expecting a TWE any days now. Good luck to all still in the running.

How did he hear? I remember you saying he had a SD/VET nomination...did ALO call or did his portal change? Congratulations, nice to hear the "hail mary" you were counting on came through :)

I'm so sorry to hear that Teragram...I hope your DD plan B is amazing!!!
Thank you, it was a rough 24 hours but she has bounced back (I took it harder I believe). She has a 4 year AROTC to Auburn University already in place with academic scholarships to cover room and board, so very solid Plan B. However, she is still waiting on USMA which is her first choice and AFA, so all hope has not been lost :)
