I know it could be until April, but just wondering when the majority are sent out. Also, does my 7th semester transcript need to be sent to receive an appointment?

My admissions person told me yesterday that selections begin at the end of this month and most candidates will receive notification by end of March or beginning of April. And to continue to monitor my portal for future correspondence. My 7th semester transcript wasn’t requested, but I sent it 2 weeks ago because of what was notated in the Candidate packet and because the USNA requested it. I figured it didn’t hurt send it. The wait has been the hardest part. I hope this helps.
This graph shows when people reported appointments to this forum for the classes of 2022 and 2023. In blue is the accumulation of reported appointments so far for the class of 2024. If we assume that the rate at which appointments are reported to this forum is the same as the rate at which appointments are released for all candidates, then it looks like a little under 50% of offers have already gone out.
The equal rate assumption might not be great. You might argue that the type of people that are active on this forum are the type of people who are more likely to receive appointments. There's no way to really test this without access to all the appointment data and the identities of the members of this forum and that information is definitely not going to be available.
I think these are the key words from admissions...you will hear BYend of March or beginning of April. If you look at @AFrpaso's graph above you see a large amount of people reporting appointments mid/late February to late March. Based on the graph it looks like we are coming into the meat of appointment notifications...keep an eye on your portals and good luck!
I will tell you that as an ALO, my experience (and what USAFA has told us) is "...the majority of appointment offers will be made in mid/late March..."
I know this was originally posted under USAFA, but I'm curious about when waves come out for USNA and USMA. Just looking at reported appointments as of today there have been the following: USNA - 73, USAFA - 78, and USMA - 104. The more interesting piece is for USNA 86% reported appointments were through January, for USAFA 76% were reported through January, but USMA 86.5% were reported given AFTER January. Is that a result of who is reporting on the SAF or is USMA the only one who does a big appointment push in early February? It's probably as simple as USMA does a big push early February and USAFA/USNA does a big push in late March (as @flieger83 notes above). If that is the case why no standardization to selections across the SAs? Maybe USMA has a double secret EA they don't advertise .
