Hello, I'm currently a fifteen year old sophomore interested in attending the academy in a few years. I am interested in all of the branches, but Air Force is the one that particularly sparks my interest. I feel that I need to attend Summer Seminar in order to understand if the military academy experience is truly for me. My only confusion comes from when I should apply. The site says that the program is designed for high school juniors. Does this mean the summer from Sophomore year to Junior year? Or from Junior year going into Senior year? Thank you, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

First word of advise is to become very familiar with the USAFA admissions site. The guidance listed at https://www.academyadmissions.com/admissions/outreach-programs/summer-seminar/ indicates "Summer Seminar at the United States Air Force Academy offers a unique opportunity to get the Academy experience first-hand. Specially designed for high school juniors heading into their senior year, Summer Seminar allows participants to see a realistic slice of cadet life."

Thank you so much, I will work on becoming more familiar with the site. It seems I was looking in the wrong section, the one about how to prepare for the greatest chance of admission, it only gave limited information on the Seminar. Thank you for your reply!
