Accepted at:
Embry Riddle: Air Traffic Management, small civilian scholarship
Norwich: Physics, civilian scholarship
University of Hartford: civilian scholarship, physics
UNH - Physics
Stony Brook University - Meterology
Waiting to hear from:

AFA, Plymouth State

No AFROTC scholarship yet. She hasn't met any of the boards yet.

guardianvg, What did your daughter think of Norwich? My son is going up tomorrow to check it out.

She felt like it was closer to being an SA than a "regular" college with ROTC. The campus is nice with some beautiful old buildings. It is a bit in the middle of nowhere. We saw a few civilian students, but just about everybody was wearing a uniform. The Commandant was very nice, she says. Chilly, but we are from Vermont's twin, NH, so we're used to it.

If she doesn't get into AFA, she will probably go because she got a nice scholarship from them and Embry-Riddle is out of our reach! Besides, she did really like it.

I hope he enjoys his visit!:thumb:

Son got NROTC Scholarship to 1st choice still waiting on AFROTC

Has a NROTC slot to his first choice-- UCLA - However, has not been accepted yet. He's out of state. Waiting is killing us and him.

He was accepted to LMU with partial academic scholarship. LMU has AFROTC and will possibly provide room and board. Hopefully, there will be good news from the AFROTC Board that met week of February 22.

Has anyone heard from the Feb 22 board yet? Patience is a virtue I am still trying to learn to master at my advanced age.
:bang:
Also accepted to Purdue, Fordham, LSU w/partial academic scholarship and still waiting to hear from a few others.

Good Luck to all of you and a major congratulations for getting this far!
