Is there a specific website or place to buy scale model aircraft of the Navy airframes-P8,e/f18, Osprey, helicopters, etc. that you recommend/ are high quality? Tia.
Can a 3D printer make a small drone that looks like one, that is operational?Might have some luck with finding someone with a 3D printer. I have a T-6 on a stick my friend 3D printed for me
A bargain at that price...I bet the operating costs quickly exceeds the purchase price !Full scale working model with spare parts. I’ve had my eye on this one for awhile. Price keeps coming down.
Flashy! But, wouldn't the Spad (bottom of page 1 Fighter Inventory) offer a better solution to dealing with neighborhood disputes.1959 McDonnell F4H-1F Phantom II | Rare Vintage Aircraft

I built Revell and Monogram models. I was good at putting on the decals, the type you soaked in water first. I bought models for my boys so they could learn to follow directions, double check that the parts fit before glueing, and learn a little something about the model like the Corsair and others. The models met their demise off the balcony in Italy or with kid EOD explosives (firecrackers) placed on and under the model. I had a balsa wood Cessna that I made as a kid. It hung from my bedroom ceiling. Mom left it there the entire time she was alive. It went to the garage (not sure who put it there) after she passed.A bargain at that price...I bet the operating costs quickly exceeds the purchase price !
At first, I thought OP was about the little plastic models I built as a kid..I was never very good, didn't have much patience and used too much glue, but had friends who were really meticulous and could really build them. Alas, no matter how good they were, they all eventually met the same fate ...falling victim to .177 BB's and pellets. (Our sinking of the Bismark was truly epic ...it floated down a small creek while we pounded it!)
