Who Is Still Waiting?

We have reached the end of another exciting week of the Admissions Cycle. As predicted, we saw movement that was in line with historic trends reported by previous admissions cycles. The burning question we all have is - HOW MANY MORE SLOTS ARE THERE? Sadly, as parents and supporters, we do not know.

However, if we use the prior cycles as an indicator, here is what the numbers suggest could be a likely reality:

**Note: this is likely to be wrong, but may be helpful to someone attempting to gauge where USMMA is in the process.
***Note: I hope I am wrong and they have more to hand out and we see another good spike, but the prior 4 years have shown a run up to 1 May and another spike the week after 1 May.

I appreciate your historical analysis. I think this year may prove to be exceptional because of DoDMERB delays. Many candidates remain on hold status due to late DQ's awaiting waiver decisions. Time will tell. Thank you for all your work on the offer statistics. Makes waiting more informed and interesting. Good luck to all still waiting!

I've been lurking on this forum for some time. We are from Pennsylvania and our son has been seeking an Appointment to USMMA. He was on the "Hold List" through May 1st. Early last week, he received an Appointment! My husband took him on Friday for a campus tour of USMMA (first visit). He accepted this Appointment this weekend. We are thrilled and humbled. I think he is in a little bit of shock still.

During his campus visit, he met with the Director of Admissions. My husband said the Director told them there were 19 (including our son) that USMMA was for the acceptance/decline response and that the class was almost filled. I thought others would like to know this information.

Just learned that USMMA Class of 2025 has a target of 280, with 277 appointments accepted to date. Still a slight possibility of something coming through at the last minute, usually due to an injury of one of the accepted plebe candidates. Good luck to those still waiting on getting a late appointment, on your Plan B, and on your re-application if you choose to try again.
