We have reached the end of another exciting week of the Admissions Cycle. As predicted, we saw movement that was in line with historic trends reported by previous admissions cycles. The burning question we all have is - HOW MANY MORE SLOTS ARE THERE? Sadly, as parents and supporters, we do not know.
However, if we use the prior cycles as an indicator, here is what the numbers suggest could be a likely reality:
*Note: this info is simply based on what has been reported here at SAF year over year and does not factor in the real number of appointments offered.
**Note: this is likely to be wrong, but may be helpful to someone attempting to gauge where USMMA is in the process.
***Note: I hope I am wrong and they have more to hand out and we see another good spike, but the prior 4 years have shown a run up to 1 May and another spike the week after 1 May.
However, if we use the prior cycles as an indicator, here is what the numbers suggest could be a likely reality:
2021 | 2022 | 2023 | 2024 | 2025
Reported SAF Appointments to date | 39 | 49 | 85 | 92 | 78 |
Final SAF Reported Count | 45 | 52 | 87 | 96
Left to Announce (how many had been reported by this date vs. final count | 6 | 3 | 2 | 4 | ~3-5 |
Percentage of REPORTED to date | 87% | 94% | 98% | 96% |
