My DS at MMI and I heard this too - that some have heard that all looks good but nothing definitive.

Oh, okay. The program in Galveston is very good. KP is better, though. My back up plan way back in the day was to study civil engineering.

Application status just changed from "hold" to "medically disqualified". I'm not sure if this means I am out of the waiver process or not. DoDMERB file still states that I am "Under DoDMERB Review"

Sorry to hear that. I have heard of reconsiderations, but they are rare. You should still be proud to have gotten this far! Good luck in your future endeavors.
 
I am very happy to announce that I was offered an opportunity to attend the NMMI preparatory school. I just had a quick question, however, if I accept the principal appointment, does that mean I am guaranteed a spot at NMMI, or do I need to do some more waiting to know if I got the spot? Thank you!

When my DS was given his sponsored prep spot at NMMI, it was a done deal. Now, he had to go through the application process and NMMI but that was easy compared to the USMMA application.
 
which is better sponsored prep school for USMMA? New Mexico or in Alabama?
Are sponsored prep only for recruit athletes?
or a student needs to apply to those school ?

I was offered a sponsored prep slot, for USMMA this year at Marion in Alabama and I am not a recruited athlete.
