I just submitted my EA application today. I am so nervous and anxious to see what the admission board decides. I guess that it's time to play the waiting game. Am I allowed to submit better PFE scores? I plan to continue working on my fitness either way as I still have to take the CFA for USAFA. Good luck to all of the EA applicants!

You are allowed to submit better pfe prior to you app being reviewed. I submitted EA two weeks ago but plan on moving my application to RA as SAT has been hard to come by.

Son also applied EA and received confirmation from his admissions officer that all was in line and they had everything they needed. Now the waiting begins. So stressful for this mom. LOL

So just speculating.....If it says notification will come out BY the 23rd of December, do you think it will be released ON the 23rd to all or rolled out in waves? I see they have done both in the past.

My DD has seen acceptance posts from some of her fellow AIM participants, so it is active and rolling until December 24 for EA. Good luck everyone!

What do you mean by "acceptance posts?" As in your daughter has fellow AIM participants that were already confirmed as accepted into the USCGA for the Class of 2025?

Yes, They posted on Instagram: “excited to announce that I will be studying and playing next fall for the USCGA. Class of 2025” . I have no idea about the details. DD texted congratulations back to them.

Sounds like they committed as recruited athletes. (Based on the playing part). Congratulations to all who have heard thus far and best wishes to everybody waiting.

Athletes at CGA don’t get the same advantages during the recruiting process that they get at other service academies. They still have to meet all the requirements for admission set by the academy. The coaches have little influence on the admissions process.
