So as many have, I've had green checkmarks across the board everywhere... except for my CFA, which is still yellow. I submitted it months ago. West Point has this stated on the application overview:
"Once all application requirements are on file (marked with a
), including Nominations and 7th Semester Transcripts, your application file will enter the queue for committee review. During high peak times, it can take up to 60 days for files to reach the committee. You will be notified immediately of any committee decisions on your file."
This implies they won't even review my application until they get around to watching my CFA videos, and even if they do get around to it, it could take 60 days from then.
If I get that green check mark on March 1st, it could take 60 days for them to review my profile and give me a decision, which would be past April. It seems like they're giving me no shot, considering about 40% of the class of 2025 has received appointments. This rubs me the wrong way considering I completed my application months in advance and I'm not getting a shot to be reviewed when there's a good amount of slots left.
EDIT: This was not meant to sound like a big complain, more so I was hoping someone would be able to tell me whether my speculations are correct or not(I didn't make that clear at all with my tone
)
Is the 60 days thing common? I'm just a little worried my application won't be reviewed in time and I'm curious if I'm wrong
