First I would like to apologize. I generally handle misunderstandings and such much better. I probably should of waited until I was in a better state of mind to respond.
Also, although it really isn't an excuse, I have been afflicted with a very painful and very severe unprecedented acute infection. I've been under a lot of stress the past few days. Not only am I missing school, but I have many deadlines approaching, I'm trying to fight through extremely intense pain to avoid falling out of shape, and I have a trip to the Academy scheduled through the Diversity Visitation Program coming up this Tuesday. I've spent most of this week either in the doctor's office and trying to sleep on far less than adequate pain meds. The original post wasn't written very well. I'm sorry.
I understand where scoutpilot is coming from. He is right...in some aspects. Not all.
Regarding the question addressed in the original post....It seems the nomination process may be slowed down a bit and interviews may be postponed. However, the government shutdown is affecting other factors of admission much more obviously and directly, eg: delayed DoDMERB exams, delayed ALO interviews, etc. I don't believe there is any discussion regarding changing deadlines. I suppose it is possible.
I should have just emailed my ALO or did the research on my own. I figured this would be more convenient and perhaps more informative.
Thank you to everybody who answered the question. And thank you to everybody who gave me advice. Although it may not seem like it, I take criticism very well. From everything, something can be learned.
