Wisdom Teeth Out!!

Updating to add that we just got back from the oral surgeon and he had two dry sockets - both of his lower teeth (well, where they were). They packed them with the medication and told him to come back Monday to replace it. They said absolutely nothing that raises his heartrate before next Wed (based on how it is on Mon), so I guess starting track Mon is out of the question. Hopefully he'll be better after all of this!

Weird - never had that happen before. I went in to edit it the previous post and it allowed me to, but I guess I didn't type fast enough and missed the limit so when I entered it, I was told I was past the 60 minute limit to edit my post and had to contact an administrator. :confused: So guess you get a new post!
 
Poor kid! It hurts me just to think about it. I glad he has you there to give him TLC, Marciemi!

Thank goodness for pain meds - do you remember the scene in "Castaway" when Tom Hanks extracted his own tooth? Ouch!!! :eek:
 
Hang in there!! We looked at it this way. Our daughter isn't going to be state champion in her senior year so there is no need to push it any harder than it has to be.
